Liberation Librarian
Looking for my next
opportunity
to make a change
through
liberation librarianship.

My Approach
I know that being a great librarian takes more than just a love of books. It means using resources and information to address the plethora of needs and inequities that patrons face on an everyday basis. I believe the best libraries work as community hubs and the best librarians function as community connectors. This philosophy permeates everything I do: my pushing for more diverse and inclusive cataloging and publishing, my outreach and activist work, my passion for zines and gaming, and beyond.

As a Black, queer, Jewish, and disabled librarian, I build on the work of my bookish ancestors who used librarianship as a site (and cite) of liberation. I also draw heavily on the work of Indigenous folks who have worked and continue to work to decolonize library and museum spaces.
